Sketchbook

Woodgrain. In my sketchbook.

My sketchbook is where I have some of my best ideas and worst mistakes.

New Identity

Ni-KO-la is a pet project I started while still in art school - I decided it was time for an upgrade. New logo, new letterhead, and new energy. I'm hoping to devote some time into getting the brand out and about.

Wooden Folk Studio

On Dec. 5th, get ready for No Coast Craft-o-Rama! I'll be selling painted wares (see birds above), along with the very talented Margie McGee and Ulana Zahajkewycz. I designed the logo and ad as well. It's going to be crazy fun, so don't miss it. Don't forget to visit woodenfolkstudio.blogspot.com!

American Folklore

Illustrations of some of my favorite heroes American Folklore: Brer Rabbit, Paul Bunyan, Johnny Appleseed (remind me to tell you my Johnny Appleseed story. It's right up there with the narwhal), and Calamity Jane.

Leslie and the Lys

Poster for Leslie and the Lys in Minneapolis. Collaboration with Sara Lintner. Hand screen printed using metallic inks and gumption.

We helped out onstage too.

It was good.

Hey All!

I'm starting a illustration/graphic design/inspiration blog for my work, and work that deserves a little highlight. So, here it is. You can expect that this will be updated more often than my website: nicolechartier.com
